Maéva Laroque began to play the violin at the age of six taught by her grand-mother. She kept studying at the Paris Regional Conservatoire (CRR), and afterwards at the Lyon National Conservatoire (CNSMD) where she obtained her master degree in 2017. She had the chance to be part of an Erasmus program and went studying at the prestigious Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London with Krzysztof Smietana.
She has always been sensitive both to the chamber music repertoire and orchestral playing. Maéva was a member of the Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester in 2018, took part in the Gustav Mahler Academy (Italia), Torroella di Montgri Festival (Spain), BWD12 chamber music festival (France) and the Aix-en-Provence festival (France).
She played in many different orchestras such as the Antwerp Symphony Orchestra, the Bordeaux National Orchestra and the Lyon Opera house.
Since 2019 Maéva is second soloist at the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra of Liège.
