Yorrick Troman - violin

Born in Paris in a family of musicians specialized in baroque, Yorrick Troman began playing the violin when he was four years old. He studied at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Lyon, where he received in 2002 the First Prize with Honors. He continued his studies in Oslo, and in 2004 he started as a soloist for second violins in the Copenhagen Philharmonic Orchestra. His interest in numerous musical styles brought him on stage with rock bands (Eiffel) and popular music, as guitarist of the trio NOMAD lib’, or with Granada flamenco artists (Luis Mariano, Fuensanta la Moneta, Quini Almendros). Yorrick also plays often in chamber music festivals with Yann Dubost and his brother Daniel Troman (Les Tromano), Roland Pidoux, Olivier Marron, Pierre Fouchenneret, Elissa Cassini and is part of projects such as Les Dissonances (David Grimal) and Le Concert Olympique (Jan Caeyers).
